Bio-Hazard Clean-Up
Bio-hazards
occur whenever body fluids (blood) contaminate an environment. Whether
that contamination happens in your home or business, whether it is the
result of an accident or a crime, we can help you recover, easing your
emotional strain and saving you from the added trauma of cleaning up a
horrific scene.
|
Why do you need Bio-Recovery of Hawaii?
Federal
Regulation 29CFR1910.1030 limits an employee's exposure to blood spills
by requiring that they receive Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) training and
be provided with the proper means and method to dispose of the
bio-hazardous waste at an approved site. The employer is required to
have a written BBP exposure control plan, provide the employee with
personal protective equipment, and offer the employee the Hepatitis B
vaccine and exposure evaluation and follow-up. If these measures aren’t
feasible for your business, you need Bio-Recovery of Hawaii. If
bio-hazards are not properly cleaned-up, you may face fines, penalties,
and possible legal actions. Let the professionals at Bio-Recovery of
Hawaii do the clean-up so you can avoid fines, penalties and potential
legal actions. |

What are some situations that might require Bio-Recovery of Hawaii services?
Any blood or body fluid/tissue spills caused by accidents, homicides,
suicides, natural deaths, and decompositions. The bio-hazard can be
caused by human or animal injuries. This can include decontamination of
diseases associated with animal waste, bird waste, rodent waste, human
waste, tissue and body fluids, homes unfit for habitation, clandestine
drug lab clean-up, communicable disease infection control, pick-up and
transportation of medical waste. |
How do I pay for bio-recovery services?
The property owner is ultimately responsible for the cost of the
service, but in most cases, home, business or auto insurance will cover
all or most of the costs. We require a down-payment and in some cases
will need a credit card number before starting service. All cases are
evaluated separately. |
